about me

me:: since we are new homeowners i have finally had the opportunity to start creating things, working on projects and  cooking..all of which were unheard of even six months ago. i love to re purpose anything and i love, even though my pocketbook might not, that i can see an object and see its endless possibilities. true joy can be found in something that you have turned around from an overlooked thrift-store item into something beautiful in your home. 

my life:: i met my husband on a college business trip back in 2009 and we hit it off immediately. we began dating as soon as we returned and have been by each others side ever since. i am very happy to say that i married my best friend and get to go through the joys and struggles of life being with him. we recently married in september of 2011 and bought our first house in december of 2011. traveling is still a huge part of our lives and anytime we have the opportunity to travel, we take it. 

milo:: i adopted milo in may of 2011 from a humane society. he has been an awesome dog and is so intelligent. he is now four but is still as active as ever!

abby:: our newest addition to our family. we adopted her from a shelter as well in january of 2012. she was abused as a puppy, but has made a full recovery and you would never know because of her sassy little attitude!
